Paul McCartney made honorary member of historic U.S. arts and sciences academy
Another day, another honor for Paul McCartney. The former Beatle was among a long list of 2012 honorees announced Tuesday as elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. McCartney was one of the 17 new recipients of foreign honorary memberships.

Paul McCartney turns down president in Paraguay
Paul McCartney has turned down the offer for a presidential tour of Paraguay's government palace in the capital of Asuncion.President Fernando Lugo tells reporters he invited McCartney to "to visit the palace of government and take a tour of historic places in the city, but he did not accept" due to tight schedule.

Rare Paul McCartney photo to fetch £15,000 at Nantwich auction
A photo of Paul McCartney by wife Linda which featured in a London exhibition of her work, could sell for £15,000 at a Nantwich auction.The image “Paul, Venice”, first displayed 10 years after Linda’s death, goes under the hammer at auctioneers Peter Wilson on Thursday April 19.
