I assume Cack is some sort of slagoff.

Whatever.  Your education is irrelevant.  My post suggested a better rounded listening experience than just Zeppelin.

erm, I never said I was a fan of Zeppelin either, so emotions such as jealousy carry zilch truth.

Cack (in my use), is just a basic reference to Cow-dung, a 'slagoff' with an agricultural twist.

Irrelevant? I feel that is slightly harsh, as I was just showing my opinion, and helping out Zep-Fan.

I know, which of course is admirable.  But it skirted the point I was making, so to that it was irrelevant.  I'm quite assured you would be far more schooled than I in music and I wouldn't dream challenging that knowledge, I'd lose every time.  But in the context of appreciating the Who that schooling wouldn't really matter.

I may have erred but I know Zep fan has laid this little bomb before, and I was thinking here he was again citing a major group and almost trollingly saying they only had 2 good songs.  But the more I dwell upon it I think the times I've seen him do this were in fact all about the Who.  Which is a consistent and perfectly fine opinion to have.  So my comment was probably a bit more edgy than need be.  Unless I'm wrong about this too.  I don't think so good anymore.

Both were completely sincere statements.

If you found it more than edgy so be it.  But I meant what I said.

Im getting peoples posts wrong :)

"I'm quite assured you would be far more schooled than I in music and I wouldn't dream challenging that knowledge, I'd lose every time"

I thought that statement was dramatic and extreme for comical and sarcastic reasons.
So got it all wrong from there onwards.

apologies for the mix up.
