You think that  burning all the Beatles stuff is really a shame and a lost  A lot of People don`t know what EMI did  In !966  after they order all the copies Yesterday and Today  Butcher cover back  EMI order Capitol  to  haul  and dump all the copies to the Jacksonville ILL landfill  there are pictures in the local paper there then and some that Capitol have  in their archives.  I am glad when they released Yesterday and Today they released it with the butcher but gives you a choice which cover you want

One bad thing about the new movie release it not nationwide A lot of places are not showing it for some reason? I thought it would be in theater in all cities but only  select theaters  it a shame too

Down in Canberra it's only on at the more arty cinema. Doing a few sessions but it's likely to have a limited audience here I suspect. I might wait til the disc comes out. I don't have any real Beatle nerd buddies to go with here.

Am I the only one here who was disappointed with this film??? A shortened Anthologies is all this was, with very, very little new footage.  Not what was promised at all.   I won’t be buying this release.

It was nice seeing them on the big screen though, and I loved the colourized version of the Washington concert.  Thats my review!  ;sorry

I went to a Beatles exhibit today wearing my vintage pin, and the person at the front desk gave me free tickets to a screening of Eight Days a Week!

Went to see Eight Days A Week in Amsterdam last Saturday. I had seen most of the footage before, but not all and was once again overwhelmed by the force of Beatlemania. Missed some more footage of concerts in England, but overall I was quite pleased and had a good time.
The Shea Stadium Concert was a nice bonus. Good job on restoring the sound. Was it pitched here and there? The vocals sounded spot on, which is pretty amazing.

I'm sure it was a whole lot better than how it sounded that night...

Thanks for the head up. I already had the video on the HDD, but it might be handy for other people who want to watch this.

Well, it looks like the lawyers got the Atlanta Stadium Concert too.  Too bad.

I saw Eight Days A Week earlier this evening on DVD.  What a nice film!  A bit of footage I've never seen before made the experience memorable.  I'm happy I have it on DVD.  there are some parts I want to see again.

I can see how those of you who first saw The Beatles on the large screen this way were moved.  The sound, even on my small system, was great!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Barry. Now I can finally ask this question: Did anyone notice anything unusual about this picture in the film?

He played the wrong chord.  Paul had to correct him.
