I've finally rid myself of Apple and that god damn Quicktime and it's f***in' codec stopping me plyaing my videos on Moviemaker. The ones i've already uploaded are still branded with it though so unitl i get a file converter that actually works I can't only use new videos. I'm gonna sell my ipod touch tomoz which will mean I can only listent to music through my phone and I like to have it by side so I can pick it up and play with but what the hell...life's a b**** isn't it. ha ha ha. Deal with it Themixer! Dunno waht I'm gonna do with the ipod touch money. Maybe get some new technoligical thing to play music through. I can't get a docking stn. 'cause I've nothing to dock it on so I'll need somthing I plug my phone into. The ohter downside is I don't have playlists anymore. I can make them on my phone but I have to remake the pl every time I add the music and can't keep it on there permenntly 'cause there's not enough room!

Oops! I'd forgot I'd posted that. I've reinstalled Itunes now and didn't sell my ipod touch.
I'm happy about the fact the live album version of Dark Side of the moon is avialable to buy as ind. tracks from itunes store so I don't have to buy the remastred album which i'm not bothred about and can just download the live album for £10.Actually I've been a bit rash...not for the first time in my life and just notice it's only £13 for the whole job lot so might as well have got the whole job lot. I think if it give me the option to buy the rest of the album inc. the album only tracks for another £4 I'll buy it but i'm over the moon, no pun intntend with the live tracks...an 8 mins jam version of Any Colur you like!!! ;D Yeah. It was only another £3 to buy the rest so why not!It seems quite strange. I'm now geting the remastered full album and some bonus tracks and some stupid documentary for £3.09!!

Hey, a fellow coffee lover; yay! :) Hope you're well, BeatlesForever.
I'm happy because we have been having GORGEOUS weather lately; the other day our temps up here in Bismarck were even warmer than those in my Dad's location near Orlando, FL! How often does that happen? It's a nice treat considering last year, winter started Sept. 19 and ended after April 29. (Yep, I kept track.)

Hi Toejam! How are you? Thank you for asking, I joined the Beatle Forum which many members from this forum are members of. Since I do not want to violate any of the forum guidelines when it comes to advertising, I would advise you to ask the Administrator's about the Beatle Forum. Take care Toejam.

I rang the locall computer sotre up to ask about hainvg a new bigger hard drive installed on my laptoop and they just told me how to free up more space saving me and costing them! Duh! Strange thing is me and my dad have both thought they were fairly unhelpful so it was a nice surprise to find them volunteering info. He even seemed more helpful than when I've takne it in and actually paid for work to be done. This monring I thought I had about 10 GB of space on my computer but now I've got 45 GB and that's after I've added the entirety of my mp3 library!!! Now I can see it all on itunes and organise it better!

I'm happy because it's the 1st of December, which is Romania's national day, therefore I don't have to go to school. :)

I'm happy about the fact that we just moved to a wonderful new city called Helsingborg (where my sister also lives) and that I get to start decorating my room soon! I'm also happy about Bob Dylan ;D

You have twins plus 1 huh? That's so cool. There's a girl who brings her triplets plus one to the library where I work. They are all under the age of 5. I love to listen to them play. It's an interesting dynamic for sure!

Yea, but the twins are 6 and the baby is 1 so it's not too bad... :P
-
I got to hold a baby last week! He's about 6 months old and totally adorable. He was wearing a cuddly Christmas sleeper and smelled so good! I think I kissed him about 100 times, LOL. That made me VERY happy.
I haven't held an infant since my youngest son (who is now 10) was that age.

That sounds like a pure bliss. We have a new little one in our family. I'll get to meet her Christmas Eve and if anyone else thinks they're going to pry her away from me they are dead wrong!

Awww... that's lovely! :)
I'm happy that my baby slept well and woke up only 3 or 4 times last night ;) And I'm really happy it's only 3 days until I see Paul! :o 8)
-
I'm envious, Elli! Not only do you currently have a baby (and twins!), but you get to see Paul, too! Wow. I have never seen him live, sad to say. Hope you enjoy the show. :D
-
Hope you enjoy the show. :D
We're expecting a full report Elli!
I'm happy today that my daughter survived her bout with a stomach virus. I haven't seen her that sick since she was bringing home germs from public school.

We're expecting a full report Elli!
I promise a full detailed report :D
I'm happy my cat did well in a cat show today!

I'm happy I'm on the East coast. 8)

Enjoy your vacation, Kathy!

Thanks, Barry! I'm back to NoDak tomorrow, sadly. But it was nice to get back to the Real World for a couple of days, and I managed to function in polite society again. ;D It's been so long I was a bit worried I was turning into a bumpkin.

Hmmm. . . I beg to differ. ;) But you're welcome to come find out for yourself: all the German food you can stomach, more heads of cattle than humans, and a dearth of cultural opportunities. But I don't want to oversell it. ha2ha

Okay, I guess I'm not fully familiar with North Dakota. The only Dakota I ever visited was South Dakota when I was 15 and I went with my family on a US tour. My dad did the driving and I was the navigator sitting in the right front seat. We visited Custer State Park, Badlands National Park and Mount Rushmore National Monument on the northern leg of our journey back to New York.
Well, at least you got the chance to visit civilization. As for me, except for two years living in North Carolina and returning to New York when I was four, I was happy to leave the city and practice in New Jersey where I could live in a semi-rural area. Here there are lots of horse farms and riding trails as I'm not too far from the headquarters of the United States Equestrian Team. Horses have the right of way on the unpaved roads. It's a nice place to live.
I don't mind cattle but I don't think I would be able to manage German food. Are there no redeeming qualities of North Dakotan life?

Hmmm. Well, it is a red state. And there's hardly any traffic. That's about it! ;)

Sounds like an okay place to me. :)

ha2ha OK, then, let's switch places. I'd be happy to relocate to NJ/NY, and ND is in dire need of physicians. You'll have to take up smokeless tobacco, though, so start carrying around a cup to spit in. :-X

My beloved older daughter—named before she was even conceived after St. Monica—is coming home tomorrow for an early birthday celebration.
Back in 1997 she was nine days overdue. The heat index in our city in Virginia the day before she was born was a grueling 117 F (~47 C). I was an enormous, hot, extremely cranky elephant. ha2ha Her father was afraid to even look in my direction that day.
As she always teases me back, though, she was worth the wait. (A million times over.)

Happy Birthday, Monica!
Aww, thanks, Barry! Monica said to say thanks, too. :)
We were chatting about her job last night, and she said there is one male employee who never replies or makes eye contact when she greets him in the hallway. (This happens a lot in this state, including with one of my own coworkers.) So I said, "Well, maybe he thinks you're cute, and he's just shy!", and her reaction was priceless. She was like "Ewwww! He's old! Like, 40!"
When she saw my face, she tried to backtrack: "Well, not OLD, but too old for me." I was was smirking and trying not to laugh. Nice save, Monica. ha2ha (She's 23, soon to be 24.) You kind to have to have been there, but it was pretty funny.

I can picture that! ;D
Remind her that one day she'll be older too...
