Part of the series "This is My Story Both Humble and True" , and originally drawn as a self-portrait by John Lennon himself in 1978, this print was completed by hand and hand signed by Yoko Ono. In the peice, John is standing before himself asking his alter-self: why have I been so blessed? Why do I exist ? Why have I chosen to act as a voice of reason asking people to live in peace and to love one another? He often said there are two types of people: why me? and why not ? The proceeds for this item benefit The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation.
