When did you first see Magical Mystery Tour?

On December 21st, 1979 on BBC2. It was only the third time it had ever been screened on British television, and marked the start of "The Beatles At Christmas" TV season. Two days later I saw the Shea Stadium film for the first time, as part of the same series.

I remember the press making a big thing about how each former Beatle had had to agree to the screenings before they could go ahead.

I cant remember.  I bought it on DVD at some point, but I think I had seen it previous to that.  Honestly, I think it was sometime in the 90's.
