When did you first see Magical Mystery Tour?

About a year ago, I would have seen it sooner but with all the hype about it being horrible I was like forget it, but it was much better then the hype
The End:
I saw it in the early Eighties - a TV channel was showing one Beatle film per day (I think it was Channel 4) and I had to rush home from school to watch them because they were on really early for some reason. In that series they also showed the Shea Stadium film! Unfortunately I didn't have a video recorder! :(

I remember first getting into the Beatles, and suddenly finding out they done films, which was something else to get my teeth in. I got my dad to buy me Magical Mystery Tour Video (which was ridiculously over-priced) and remember aftwerwards wanting to get up and record my own music/surreal film :)
...My dad thought it was rubbish.. :)
