I think I may have sorted it out. I can do the audio only thing in iMovie, and save it as a .mov file. You can change the audio on a YouTube vid directly on their site using AudioSwap. So things should be OK.

Hoping to have the first round of questions up on Sunday.

BM, was I right with my answer, "
I think it was during the James Paul McCartney television special where he performed "Blackbird", "Michelle" and "Yesterday"

to your "It may drift into the 70's a little, for instance - When did Paul first record a cover of one of his own Beatles songs?" question?

 :)

Well if I was using this one in the quiz, you'd be wrong. The key word is 'record', not 'perform'. And you may actually have to drift into the 80's!

The phrase would have to be extended to "recorded in the studio" (as opposed to "recorded for a live album") if the Beatles songs on Wings Over America were to be excluded.  :P

There'll be no solo questions, I'm afraid, as I'm more interested in the group as a whole. And if I'm setting questions that I'm not interested in, then I'd soon get fed up with it. Anyway, I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough on solo stuff to set a quiz on it.

Hopefully we'll be starting this weekend.

There did seem to be enough interest to justify the time and effort of putting the quiz together, but so far only three people have submitted answers. So come on folks! You have until 12 noon GMT on Sunday to get your answers in. Only 11 questions!

Remember, if you want to take part in the Beatles Mastermind Quiz, your answers need to be in by 12 noon GMT this Sunday.

Only eight people have submitted answers so far, which is disappointing. Come on people, if you don't know the answer, guess!! And you might learn something at the same time.

Beatles Mastermind 2 will start Sunday 16 March at 12 noon GMT.

As their have so far only been 8 entrants for the first round I am going to leave it open for another week. You now have until Sunday 23 March at 12 noon GMT to PM the answers to Round 1. Round 2 however, will only last for one week, and so will also close next Sunday.
