Whats there not to like. They had two gorgeous girls that could sing and shake they're butts around plus the group sang catchy tunes.

Honey Honey

This was the song I liked best when I saw "Mamma Mia" in Buffalo. It was so much fun; the moms in our group were all dancing by the end and the kids were trying to hide under their seats. It doesn't get much better than that!

Never cared for them. Perhaps they were more respected, famous and important when they came out than nowadays.

I felt exactly that way for the longest time. Then, a few months ago I happened to catch their film 'ABBA: The Movie' on TV and became terribly impressed by the live performances it showed. This sparked my interest and I gathered all of their studio albums to get the whole picture. Very enjoyable. So...that's it. They were very good at what they did. Sort of like The Beatles, they quit while they were ahead.

 :)

They could put on a good show for sure!

We could always count on The Midnight Special for good concerts.  Here's ABBA in 1976...

Poor Frida...It must have been difficult...Spending all those years as "the second-best-looking one..."

Well, that video had me on the edge of my seat! I kept wondering what it was all leading up to. And it really was just a nudge but a nudge with a venomous look attached. LOL

Both Frida and Agnetha were stunning!  And they both had beautiful voices.

ABBA is the fourth best-selling popular music artists in recorded music history.  Watching videos like The Winner Takes It All and When All Is Said And Done was disturbing.  ABBA never officially broke up.  They just stopped performing together.

I love ABBA!! They are great! Last month I went to see Mamma Mia! at the theatre here in Argentina, and It was the same as the film! The songs were the best part.
