Yoko appearing on a Beatles album
« on: November 09, 2010, 01:44:46 PM »

I know Yoko says the phrase "Not when he looked so fierce" on The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill.  Were there any other instances where we can hear her voice in a Beatles song?

Read somewhere that Linda Eastman vocally contributed on track Let It Be.
Uncredited, of course.

Well, she was there when they were making the album, so she
was a fifth Beatle. :P For a short while.  roll:) And one verse sung
by her in Bungalow Bill is OK - it's John's song.
Ringo's wife Maureen is also in chorus of the song.

Pattie Harrison and (I think) Mo Starkey also contributed backing vocals to Birthday.

I think Yoko also appears briefly on Happiness Is A Warm Gun, during the "I need a fix" section if you listen carefully. Unless my ears deceive me. I always thought it was just John double tracking himself but on the last "cos I'm going down", the backing sounds decidedly like a female voice. Might need to listen through headphones to hear properly.
