This is one of my favourites too, especially from the early years. i cannot sit still when this one os on.

I think it is one of many underrated songs.  A lot of the non-singles are.

This song defines what the "Beatles" vocal harmonys and playing was up to at the time! I also like John's version of "When I Get Home" which is pure rock and roll! There is a good reason why this band was thought of as the best band in the world after releasing these songs! The early Beatle songs were so pure and uncluttered of extras! Just the lads singing  their hearts out and the basic music behind them!

I liked "Any Time At All" since the first time I listened to it. Does anybody think that part of the instrumental middle of "Here Comes The Sun" is similar to the one of "Any Time At All"?

Same for me; I love that song; the music, the lyrics and of course John's amazing vocals  8) And I always thought that it was one of the most under-rated Beatles song.

The Beatles Recording Sessions say's it was recorded June 2nd, 1964 in one day along with Things We said Today and When I Get Home. The basic track was laid down first in 7 takes bettween 2:30 -5:30 and was returned to after the other two were finished to add the middle 8 and Paul's answering vocals.
The whole day lasted bettween 2:30pm and 10:00pm. It was recorded on 4 track in studio 2.
