I've seen that before, Kevin, and it makes me laugh out loud every time. That would certainly be a great set of guidelines for dealing with me.  ha2ha

Ah, Kevin...so you have a page from our manual!

This is one of Phil Hartman's personas. Your gif is in the first four minutes. He was one of my favorite Saturday Night Live players.

I loved Phil Hartman too, was so sad at his untimely passing. What a surprising and odd story that was! RIP Phil.  :(

Great song! Love the way he clutches his hair at the end of the Ed Sullivan clip.  :)

I really love the way John did "Honey Don't" for the BBC. His vocals are so full of energy and when he does that "Bop, bop, bop, bop" thing @1:59 it's very cute.

http://youtu.be/VRQIdl-xvMA

I didn't realize that the bops came right from the man himself. There's lots in fact. I thought it was very cool when I recently discovered that.

Carl Perkins - Honey Don't (1955)

But then, tonight, I found that Ringo did it too, here @2:33

Now my life's complete.  ;D

This...

Terribly reminiscent of 'Revolution #9', which must have been inspired - at least in part - by this guy's work.

Oh, I think that's who I meant when I posted a few months ago in the "Yoko Ono" thread. I think I said Phillip Glass, but I meant John Cage. I agree; very, um, different.  roll:)

Yes...very different! Apparently this is his first composition for tape recorder. It's interesting to read about how he did it but I couldn't listen to the whole thing. It made my German Shepherd nervous and right after I stopped it my computer beeped. I guess it was nervous too. LOL
