first album reconsidered???

as these were studio recorded...shouldn't the decca recording session be considered a first album???

It's good stuff to have, but they're mostly poorly played by a band that's nervous and dog tired. They should have played more rock 'n' roll, though that would probably gone down even worse with Decca.

How could any musicians be expected to preform up to their standard on New Years Day? I mean, would you ever be expected to go to work? Any sane person don't wake up until the 2nd.
