You know you're a Beatles fan when you have mini freak-outs ALL the way through your morning lecture because it's all about Indian classical music and how it was adopted by The Beatles in the 60's, and not only do you dance in your chair to every song, you mime all the words AND play "air sitar" to a Ravi Shankar song... I am the biggest dork in my year.

It was extra funny too, because the tutor played an Indian band covering I Want To Hold Your Hand but with Indian words, and asked if anyone could tell which Beatles song they were covering. Me and another guy both said the answer at the same time, but the tutor kinda took the guy's answer instead of mine, so I was determined to get something right just to jokingly snub him... And then the tutor showed one of Kula Shaker's album covers that had Krishna and Rada on the front, and he asked if anyone knew what the male figure was, and I quite loudly shouted "KRISHNA!!!" in a voice that was way more aggressive that I intended! GOD I'm such a dork. I was the only one in the class that knew it, though. Three cheers for insufferable know-it-alls...

You know you're a Beatles fan when you're in a vintage clothes shop and you literally have to tear yourself away from a Help! t-shirt, and not only that, you end up cooing so much over an art print of John that your friend ends up buying it for you to shut you up.

You know you're a Beatles fan when you go to a party with only a couple of people you know, and a group of strangers approach you and ask "we don't know you or anything, but you're a MASSIVE Beatles fan, aren't you?"
That happened to me last week.

You know you're a fan when...

-For your high school senior class, you got the superlative "Most likely to fit in better in a different decade." I got that just because the whole school knows I'm a Beatles fan!

-It's impossible for someone to turn their head in your bedroom and not see a Beatles' face.

-Someone says the word "Fallin'" and you immediately get I've Just Seen a Face stuck in your head. "Fallin', yes I'm fallin'..." Happens to me all the time. Let's just say I've heard that song A LOT of times, it's sad. Lol.

-You become less of a shy person. I'm pretty shy, but if I see a stranger with a Beatles shirt or something, I'll compliment them and find any way to talk to them. I never would do that before I became a fan. I get excited when I see another fan and love running into them.
