I vote for Sir Paul ...

------

What's the date and hour (aprox.) when the photo for Abbey Road album cover was taken? ...

... if you don't know it you can tell me if they are entering or leaving the studio in that pic and -at least- two alternate names for that album ... again ...

I don't think this has been answered yet.
The photo was taken on a Sunday morning I think but not too early.
They're walking away from the studio.
One alternate title was Everest.I can't think of another one!

A bit of a half answer so here's half a question.

Complete this sequence : John,Paul,George,Ringo and...

It was taken in August 8th, 1969 about 11 o'clock in the morning leaving the studio, correct.
Alternate titles: Everest (Geoff's cigarrattes) correct ... and a fake one: Ringo suggested another one on Anthology Book, can't remember right now but it was something like "Billy's left boot" ...

Answering (trying to) your question: Bert?

My turn now?

I'd like to finnish that "alternate titles" thing ...

tell me one for Please Please Me, one for The Guys and two for Let It Be (let's forget alternate titles for the first and second films 'cos they are well-known) ... I'm asking for 4 answers I know but there are 1-2 quite easy, I think ...  :)

I've only got three of your titles so I'll leave it to somebody else!

Another 4 ...

"Titles suggested: Four in the Bar; All Good Children Go to Heaven; Turn Ups; Inclinations."

Correct! They played something else as a closer on that tour, but for this occasion and for old times sake, they played Long Tall Sally. The concert was taped, but because the tape wasn't long enough, the recording ended before Long Tall Sally and the concert were finished. Symbolism....

I'm not good in these things... Let's see. It wasn't Ringo, right? I say it's John Lennon.

Ah, listen to the BBC recordings: John Lennon. Again. It's easy, the answer to all your questions is 'John Lennon'. ;D

Who was the first to have a Top 10 hit in the UK or US with a song written by Lennon and McCartney, other than the Beatles?

LOL! Didn't realise all my questions were John answers! Ooops! ;D

Ooh, that's tricky question though - I'm not too good with charts!!!

Let me see - 1st US cover was by Del Shannon, 1st UK cover was Kenny Lynch but I'm not sure that they charted too well, so... but, I'm gonna go with Billy J Kramer and the Dakota's Do You Want To Know A Secret.
