I am really, really looking forward to receiving this! It's due to arrive Friday; a perfect way to start the weekend. There was a package on my porch this past Friday from Amazon and for a split-second I thought, "Oh yea...it's here!" Then of course I remembered it wasn't even out yet and that I had ordered a meatloaf pan. Oh boy.  roll:)

It's great fun. They're so energetic and on it. One is reminded again how great they were live back then – when they could be heard, of course.

To be honest, I still don´t know whether I will buy it as I rarely listen to Volume 1. Too many covers for my liking.  roll:)

I love the Pre-Fab Four.  They were so cool (and happy) then...

I hope we get a remastered Live! at the Star Club one day soon.  I'm happy with the vinyl LP I bought in the late 70s...

Not while the principles are still breathing, me thinks.

I wish we'd got an official release of 'beneath this wig...' - better start saving for the 2029 Volume 3 release.  ;D

Oh yes, a new remastered "Live at the Star Club" would be great  :) I bought the vinyl in the mid 80's and well... the quality could be better. Nice piece of Beatles pre-history anyway.

Love the sheer effortlessness and mid-60s cool of 'Revolver', the eclecticism of 'The White Album' and the genius Side 2 of 'Abbey Road' but, if I was granted two Beatles' releases to take to a mythical tropical island, I'd plump for 'Live at the BBC' Volumes 1 and 2.

Absolutely essential and I genuinely can't understand why anyone wouldn't (for £15!) want a copy.
What on earth in 2013 is the alternative?

Still it's a mystery to me why Dream Baby was not included. Still holding things back.

Yeah, that should be there. They want to make certain we come back for Live at the BBC 3 or whatever they're going to call it.

For the hardcore fan, Dream Baby is included on this...

I have to hold out until Christmas (wife informed me of the purchase already). Oh well.

Not sure why anybody would want the 62' Star Club stuff again. The sound is absoluty horrid. Unlistenable for me.

Yes, I have Dream Baby as well, also thanks to the Complete BBC upload from Alan several years ago. But it's still no official release.

I'm not waiting for The Star Club stuff either. It has an historical importance, but thats about it.

It's in my collection too but I'd really like to hear it cleaned up.

It goes back a few years, Kev.  We could download the discs in the Bootlegs forum:  http://www.dmbeatles.com/forums/index.php?topic=3586.0
