Sad news about Victor Spinetti

Anyone in the UK recall a kids show that Victor Spinetti appeared in in 2001 where he played a grandpa to a lad who owned a special pocket watch that could stop time all around you when clicked? Been trying to recall the show and can't find any mention of it online. Cheers!
