Charming Beatlemania tour film to be screened free next week in New York City
The Beatles' first film “A Hard Day's Night” gave filmgoers a fictional look at the hectic world of Beatlemania. Beatles fans can see the film that inspired it, the Maysles Brothers' “What's Happening: The Beatles in the U.S.A,” a cinema-verite real-life documentary of Beatlemania, in a free outdoor screening next week.

'Good Ol' Freda' update: Talks on to add Beatles music to secretary's story
In a Thursday update on the status of the documentary “Good Ol' Freda” about Beatles fan club secretary Freda Kelly, producers Kathy McCabe and Ryan White announced they are talking with the Beatles' Apple for rights to use Beatles songs in the film.
