John Lennon book: Beatles info overload ?


CBS News) John Lennon would have turned 72 this week, and fans are still fascinated by his life, his music, and the tragedy of his death. But there's a backlash now against the Beatles' official biographer, Hunter Davies. Critics say his new book simply offers too much information.

ALEXANDRIA, La. – On Tuesday, the Alexandria Rotary Club honored the late singer from The Beatles, John Lennon, on his birthday. They were also enlightened by the musician's life by a local author who has dedicated her life to writing a series of books about the music legend.
