Royal Mail in the UK is to issue a set of Beatles stamps for the first time, from January 2007. There will actually be two sets, one featuring various album covers and one featuring Beatles memorabilia.

Actually there was an issue of John stamps, wasnt there?

Can't remember any Royal Mail stamps with John on them - I might be wrong though, I'm not a stamp collector... honest! ;D

It was issued in New Zeeland I think.

Hopefully these Beatles stamps will reach the U. S. before too long because I would save them & use them.

I would save one book of Beatles stamps for myself & use another one for putting in the mail Taxgirl.

It mentions stamps from the Republic of Tuba, a place for which I can find no reference. Strange.
