Dammit Cor. I must resist the temptation to listen.

Sorry Todd. Didn't realize you were addicted.

This comes out in the UK on 1st February. I'm actually looking forward to getting this album as one of my fav singers Joss Stone sings a duet with Ringo on the album. Two singers I admire singing a duet how fab is that ;D.

^That would be amazing! I don't know if he is, it doesn't say on his website yet.  :-[

I found this on his website, I wonder if it's going to be on  T.V. I hope so!

RINGO AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM ON JAN. 19

On Jan. 19, 2010, The GRAMMY Museum will host music legend, multi-GRAMMY winner, and the world’s most famous drummer Ringo Starr for an onstage interview and performance, it was announced today.  Just one week after the release of his newest album, Y Not (Hip-O Records), the evening will offer fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage with Starr about his most personal work to date.

“The GRAMMY Museum is excited to welcome such a musical legend to our stage,” said Executive Director Robert Santelli, who will conduct the interview.  “The mere mention of the name ‘Ringo’ conjures up such an unparalleled legacy of music that I’m thrilled to offer fans the opportunity to hear from him in such a personal way.”

For the first time in one of popular music’s most enduring and illustrious careers, Ringo Starr has decided to   produce himself. The result is perhaps the most personal and impressive album of this rock legend’s entire solo career, Y Not, out Jan. 12 on Hip-O Records/UMe.  Ringo is joined on Y Not by old and new friends including Paul McCartney (with whom Starr sings on Y Not’s stunning first single, “Walk With You”), recent brother-in-law Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, Don Was, Joss Stone, Richard Marx and Ben Harper, who along with his Relentless7, will be backing Ringo while promoting this release.

Before an intimate audience of 200 in the Museum’s GRAMMY Sound Stage, Starr will answer Santelli’s questions about Y Not and the celebrated career that preceded it.  After the interview, Starr take questions from the audience and perform a few songs, performed with beloved Los Angeles GRAMMY-winners Ben Harper and the Relentless7.

The GRAMMY Museum launched its flagship public program, “An Evening With…,” in January 2009 with music legend Brian Wilson and continued its success with critically-acclaimed recording artists Annie Lennox, Tom Morello, Dwight Yoakam, Dionne Warwick, Smokey Robinson, Terence Blanchard, Herb Alpert and Lani Hall, George Benson, Paul Shaffer, Carly Simon, Harry Connick, Jr. and Clive Davis.  The program regularly features award-winning and cutting-edge musicians live and onstage.  Taking place in the Museum’s state-of-the-art theatre, which screens the film “The Making of a GRAMMY Moment” during regular Museum hours, the program provides guests unprecedented access to their favorite musicians.

“American Express Presents Ringo Starr” will take place at 8pm in the GRAMMY Sound Stage, on the second floor of The GRAMMY Museum.  Doors open at 7:30pm.  American Express presale package is $50 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com.  American Express is the exclusive payment method for presale packages.  All proceeds benefit The GRAMMY Museum.  For more information, please call 213.765.6800 or visit www.grammymuseum.org .

The GRAMMY Museum is located at 800 West Olympic Boulevard, Suite A245, Los Angeles, CA 90015. With an entrance off of Figueroa Street, the Museum resides within the L.A. LIVE campus, at the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles.

This is big: Ringo Starr will be taking over Late Night on Tuesday! And by "taking over," I mean - he is our ONLY guest! He will be doing an interview, performing a song, and more. That's right folks - one of the BEATLES is going to be on our show. And, he just might answer one of your questions on air.
