Join fellow fans from "across the universe" in celebration of the fans and the music of The Beatles and 60's pop music, as Liverpool Productions LLC presents "BEATexpo 2010" on Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28th, 2010 at the Holiday Inn Downtown Stamford, 700 E. Main Street in Stamford, CT. The event is back by popular demand, after returning to Connecticut last year for the first time in 12 years.

There will be spec...ial guests, concerts by tribute bands, a gigantic rock & roll flea market/memorabilia marketplace; rare video screenings; special exhibits and displays; a "penny" auction and many other features, events and attractions.

Special Guests of Honor at BEATexpo 2010 include:
~Tommy Roe - Tommy Roe played on the same bill as The Beatles and he is coming out of retirement to join us at BEATexpo. This isn't only his first BEATexpo -- it's the first convention he's appeared at -- ever! The international hit-maker wrote or co-wrote and recorded six Top 10 hits between 1962-69, more than any other single artist/songwriter during this period of the sixties. Four were certified gold records. Two of his hits, "Sheila" and "Dizzy," topped the Billboard chart at #1. "Sweet Pea," "Hooray for Hazel" and "Jam Up & Jelly Tight" were his other pop rock classics.
On March 9, 1963, The Beatles began their first British tour opening for Tommy Roe (and Chris Montez). In that month, they played 21 dates throughout England, including a showcase concert at Liverpool's Empire Theater
~Carlos Alomar - guitarist who played sessions with John, Yoko, McCartney and co-wrote "Fame" with John Lennon and David Bowie. First-ever BEATexpo appearance!
~Gary Van Scyoc - bassist from John's 70's New York band Elephants Memory. First-ever BEATexpo appearance since 1981!
~Julie Grant - Liverpudlian singer who toured with The Beatles & was a close friend of theirs through the 60s (she even double-dated with them!). As an artist, she was to the Stones what Cilla Black was to The Beatles. First-ever CONVENTION appearance anywhere!
~David Bedford - Liverpudlian author and Liverpool expert who has just released the great new book "Liddypool!" First-ever U.S. convention appearance!
~Lada Edmund - Famed 60's Hullabaloo TV "Caged Go-Go Dancer" and recording artist. She sang on Murray The K's show at the Brooklyn Fox Theatre. First-ever BEATexpo appearance!
~Juma Sultan - Jimi Hendrix percussionist who played at Woodstock (Hendrix was the 1st artist to cover the Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper" live). First-ever BEATexpo appearance!
~Kevin Roach - British the author of the
new book "The McCartneys: In The Town Where They Were Born," Roach is also flying from Liverpool to join us. First-ever U.S. convention appearance!
Special Guests Encore Appearances (back by popular demand!):
~Sid Bernstein - the legendary promoter who brought The Beatles to America. He produced their famous Shea Stadium Concerts and also the shows at Carnegie Hall and NY's Paramount Theatre. He will have his book available at the show.
~Shannon - Simply the world's greatest Beatles/rock & roll artist. Bring your favorite photo of The Beatles (or any rocker) and watch her transform it into a world-class gallery-worthy painting.
~Dennis Ferrante - Grammy-award winning recording engineer and producer, he was John Lennon's recording engineer.
~Ian Lloyd of The Stories ("Brother Louie") & John Ford of (The Strawbs) will be performing a set of Beatles music. John Ford lived at & recorded at John Lennon's London Tittenhurst Park.

Featuring the great BEATLES Tribute band The MerseyBeat.

There will be meet & greets with the guests, autographs signings, photo opportunities and question & answer sessions along with the live music and other attractions.

"Ticket to Ride" All-Day Passes for Sunday, Nov. 27 Noon-8pm are only $15.75 in advance (plus any applicable service charges), or $20.00 at the door (if the event isn't sold out in advance). There are also special early-bird V.I.P. admission which allow fans and collectors to enter the show at 11am - one hour before general admission - for first crack at the vendors & special guests ($30.00), and they may stay on all day (11am-8pm).

Special Pre-Show Concert Event on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 8pm with special guests, bands and attractions. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets $15.75 advance (plus any applicable service charges) or $20 at the door (if not sold out in advance).
