Amazon Beatles Box Sets Price Change.

Hi everybody.

I pre-ordered the two Beatles box sets on Tuesday last week via Amazon.co.uk .  The Stereo version was £134.59 while the Mono version was £157.99.  The next day, I happened to have another look at the pages for these box sets I found that the price had increased.  The Stereo version was now £169.98 and the Mono version was now £199.98.  That's a whopping increase of £77.38!!!!

So far, Amazon.co.uk have not responded to my email.

Has anybody else found this problem, maybe in other countries?

It's not exactly a slight increase, is it?

I use Amazon (US) and found that if you keep revisiting an item, sometimes the prices will get bumped up.   :-/

It's not so much as bumped up as sent up with a rocket, lol!  Let's hope it'll sound good.

I'm not too sure Amazon use the same policy, but whenever I've preordered something online, I've only ever paid the price it was when I made the order, whether the price increased or not.

They will always honour the lowest price (Amazon)....I ordered it for the 17- price (gutted I missed the 135)...double checked my order a dday later and my order value had dropped to 135. Amazon must of dropped the price for a while over night.

Actully, I think they are selling it for 135 at the moment! 8)

my order total hasn't changed from the original price, its their pre order price guarantee
