They're going to play the 50th Anniversary Sgt. Pepper's mix in it's entirety sometime on June 1st.

You're welcome, Barry. I might have to have my headphones surgically removed once that starts up!

They're going to play the 50th Anniversary Sgt. Pepper's mix in it's entirety sometime on June 1st.

That's a Thursday, a day I work. I hope it's some time when I can listen.

Now all I gotta do is get Sirius XM.  The only time I ever see that is when I rent a car and it plays a small sample.  Most of the time the car just has AM/FM.

It looks like you can stream it on a PC.  Something to think about.

It costs 15.99 to stream it but if you want it in your car too you can add the streaming to a radio package for an extra 4.00. I just finished a 6 month special deal and now I'm going to go down to the "mostly music" package with streaming added. I'll have it in my car and on my phone for 14.99. I don't care about talk radio, NFL or any of that other jazz. I think they even have a way that you can get a free receiver.
But regarding the Beatles channel, I've got it programmed into my presets in the car. I'm ready!

I'm seriously considering streaming it, Kelley, primarily for The Beatles Channel.  I would like to have this at the office and at home.

I think you'd enjoy the 60's channel too, Barry. The regular programming is kind of bubblegummy but they have a couple of excellent shows at certain times. Peter Noone has a show where he plays all kinds of 60's music and tells some cool stories about the whole Merseybeat scene. And, as he says, some of the stories are even true. LOL Then there's Lou Simon with his Sixties Satellite Survey. He's a treasure trove of interesting trivia. I use an app on my phone but I'll see how it works on my PC.

That sounds right up my alley, Kelley.  WCBS-FM is playing less 60s stuff these days and 50s music is a rare event.  I don't listen to the radio much in the car.  As long as I can get it on my PCs that's all that matters.

I see that streaming on a pc gives the same experience as the app. I was hoping you'd be able to get the shows they offer on demand.

I'll have to get a home satellite radio receiver to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it right.

 ;D
You can do it right with the streaming, in terms of on demand anyway. With the receiver you can only listen live. I'm listening to Peter Noone's show right now. There's no way I can really enjoy it until everyone else is in bed. Just when he starts to tell one of his stories someone here starts talking LOL

Well, then let me know if The Beatles Channel can be streamed live and on demand.  The 60s Channel would be nice too.  I'm sure there will be others that I'll like.

Yes, and if you call when the trial's about up you can usually get a good deal on six months paid up front. You just have to act like you're not sure you really want to keep it. It's like buying a car. I'm sure the Beatles channel will be included in the streaming.
