A rolling recording studio in John Lennon's memory stops at BOCES in Valhalla

VALHALLA — The Byrds captured the dream almost a half century ago in their hit "So You Want to Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star."Just about every teenager since then has spent some time in school daydreaming about being a musician, a singer, a rapper — a star — and recording a hit song that stands out from the rest.On Monday, eight students at Southern Westchester BOCES got a taste of the real thing thanks to a multimillion-dollar recording studio that pulled up to the BOCES campus. The gleaming John Lennon Educational Tour Bus was in town.
