I dont really believe in ghosts but whenever I think of that night in 1975 it still sends a chill down my spine.

I don't really either but I did have a couple of strange experiences after both my sister's and brother's deaths. The oddest thing was at my niece's college graduation, about 8 months after her dad died. We were sitting way up high in the gymnasium and I watched this one guy as he climbed up the steps. I was amazed at his resemblance to my brother but as he got closer I realized that he didn't look much like him at all. The next day I mentioned it to my kids and my son said that he saw him too and had the same experience. Normally he wouldn't be the type to give much credence to any such story. I'm sure it was just both of us feeling the loss on that special family day but still, it had me wondering if it's possible somehow for those we've lost to visit us like that.

My first experience was in a old barn that had been converted to a gorgeous summer home that belonged to the parents of a friend of mine.
In 1977 we went up with our new .22's to do some shooting and when we went to bed that night something was walking down the hall and came in the room! It's footsteps sounded like loud gravel and he walked back and forth from one end of the room every so often all night long! It took me about 1/2 an hour to roll over on my side and cover up with the blanket! I opened my eyes as I could see the gray of dawn through my eyelids but didn't see anything. That was a very scary and long night. Sleep was impossible!

Those are some goosebumps-inducing stories....I've never had any sort of supernatural experience, at least not that I'm aware of.

Beasts Of The Southern Wild

I liked it a lot. The acting was fantastic and the little girl that starred as Hushpuppy got lots of awards for her performance. A some what difficult tale of the disappearance of Cajun free people for better of worse!

I just saw Scenic Route. It was OK, but I was expecting something more; I'm not sure what, exactly.

Was it like a Wrong Turn movie or something introspective? By the title it could go either way!

It was supposed to be introspective -- two buddies stranded in the desert after their car breaks down on a remote desert highway -- but it failed somewhere. It was good, but it seems like it could have been better, like if it had delved more deeply into the characters' psyches. I guess I was expecting some major plot twist, but it never came.

I think Josh Duhamel is my new celebrity crush, though!  ;)

Just got back from "One Direction: This Is Us" with my elder daughter, who cajoled me into going (and paying!). I'm not sure WHAT I thought.  ???  I do know that I need a Beatles fix, though.
