Anecdotes about you and someone famous

About eight years ago I was at a festival here in Holland. It was around 1:00 PM and me and some friends had just arrived, so we walked to one of the stages to check out what was happening. There was a band playing, just a couple hundred people were watching, you could walk right up to the barriers, no problem. So we did and hung out there for a while, not paying much attention to the band. All of a sudden this annoying little guy starts pushing me. He kept yelling at everyone around him to start moving and he kept on pushing. So after a few seconds I got tired of him and pushed him away, like "Man, what's your f***ing problem?". Then he climbed over the barriers and got back on stage. It wasn't until then that I realized he was the singer of the band.

And that band was Limp Bizkit.

A few years later I realized I should've pushed the little f***er a lot harder.

^Good story. I hate Fred Durst so f***ing much.

I have never met anyone famous. EVER. I came close to meeting Avril Lavigne once through a contest but the people screwed up and I didn't get to meet her after all. :(

I once met/saw the man that made me want to play the guitar, Eddie Van Halen (and the rest of VH)...It was during soundcheck with the five-star experience during their 04 tour... it was so cool... they whole band was pretty cool and the communication with the people was amazing...even got to shake his hand ha :)...The whole five-star experience, soundcheck/concert was amazing...they only thing was that i didn't meet him one on one, there were other people there so i guess it's more of a "saw" than "met"...

I got to propose to Shawn Colvin last year. Robert Plant grabbed my cup of beer that I was holding up while saluting him from the 2nd row in 1988, and took a swig and gave a wink, which was VERY cool. My life was complete at that point. Saw a few of the Lennon's cats in the window of the Dakota back in the early '80s, though that just might be a bit of a stretch.
