Why not. There's been so many hideous fashion choices over the years I figured it would be funny to relive those wonderful moments.

Steven Tyler always looks like such a joke.

This is just creepy. Liked his 70's look, but he just needs to STOP now.

Bell bottoms and snakes. I don't know how cool that is. The music blinded us I think.

I just could NEVER stand that whiny new wave look with the hats, baggy shirts, long coats, and skinny ties. Not to mention the make up. Although I realize that many of our members may disagree!

Contrary to popular believe, NOT every teen girl in the eighties idolized these guys! Although I do admit to suffering through a few videos just to get a glimpse of John Taylor. ??)

Not too sure about some of George's choices over the years!

Count me as one of the few people who hated the whole Nirvana grunge look. I think he may have inspired those idiots who go around in pyjama bottoms and Crocs.

Cher, post 1970s. Where did it all go wrong? *sigh* I think Bob Mackie must have been on drugs in the 80s. That is if he was still dressing her at that point.

How could someone so talented be such a terrible dresser?

It was a very poor choice for Freddie to cut his hair and grow the porn 'stache, IMO.

I can't see the Nirvana pic but I think I know which outfit you're talking about with the pajamas. I LOVE the grunge look. Kurt really pulled it off well too. It was so damn refreshing after years of spandex and fringe. Plus I grew up in the suburbs of NY so it was pretty much standard uniform for most of us.

I so agree about Freddie. I prayed for years for him to shave that damn thing off! After seeing him in Bohemian Rhapsody I was smitten, but then Another One Bites the Dust came out and I woke up.

^^^^Very good topic. The '80's fashion was horrible. I much preferred the 1970's with the bell-bottoms. I am currently reliving my childhood by wearing "flare" jeans.......I LOVE IT!!!
And my hair..........well............I've always liked "big hair"......my hair now is cut in a long "shag" and naturally blonde and curly like Robert Plants. This I can't help........and I'm not going to straighten it. One day, curly hair will come back in style...........I hope.......
Oh.............and those padded shoulders on the jackets..........I've got a good one of Greg Lake I've got to dig up from the 1980's and y'all probably go, "What the hell"...............I'll find and post............

Greg Lake is such a copycat! John was sporting the man-purse look back in 1967:

AND he has a huge flower on his shirt, which is the sure sign of a man totally at home with his sexuality.

Notice Paul's people pants, paired with a floral shirt and, um, Chinese vest? I'm sure this is another stunning tribute to acid. Can't quite see if he has a man-purse over his shoulder, but a girl can dream, eh?

These clothes are all pretty hilarious. But I think Jimmy Page's outfit was pretty cool (like a Nudie suit) only with the flared legs. That Greg Lake outfit looks like something left over from a Star Trek convention.
