saw Ringo last night - first time

(1/1)

blmeanie:
while I've seen Paul in concert 8 or 9 times over the years I've never gone to see Ringo and the All Starr Band

Great show, current lineup has  Steve Lukather from Toto, Colin Hay from Men at Work, Edgar Winter, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, and Gregg Bissonette.

All were great.  Three Toto songs, Hold the Line, Africa and Rosanna. Three Men at Work songs, a couple from Average White Band (Hamish Stuart) and a couple from Edgar Winter.

The star, besides Ringo of course, was Warren Ham.  From Wiki, he seemed to play with a lot of bands and groups over the years.  His versatility was amazing and he was the "young" vibrant voice on a few songs when they needed it (toto) .

Not sure why I've never taken in a show before but my wife and I had fun.  Good therapy for her, trying to enjoy some different things.  Not sure now that I typed that whether I've mentioned what is going on here.  Will post in another post right now

I saw Ringo a couple of years ago with a similar band.

It was fanatastic.

Does Ringo still jump around on stage as if he was twenty years old?

blmeanie:
yes, incredible at his age.  We can all hope to be as energetic and fit when we get there too

Moogmodule:
I doubt whether he’ll get all the way to Oz now. But sounds like a fun show so I’d be up for it if he does.

Euan Buchan:
Only seen Paul twice never seen Ringo I doubt I’ll ever will as he never comes to Europe/UK on Tour.
