I guess I need to start paying attention to this tour. My buddy just called and convinced me to go if he's in Pittsburgh. It'll be the last hurrah he said. We'll spare no expense. He's talking front row to front 5.

Ehhh

If you got to do it do it right. ha2ha  Problem is that I have heard the message a couple of times before: 'This is going to be his last tour.' According to Paul, it's not. He will play as long as he can. Maybe not intense tours, but certainly an on and off tour like this.

I had every intentions of not going, but my business partner called and said we needed to go and to go in style. I guess i'm going. Dont get me wrong, i'll enjoy it as I always do, but I just dont want to spend the cash. Oh well. Time to suck it up.

Wow, I wish I had a friend who would bug me to go to a Paul concert. :P None of my friends are huge enough Beatles/Paul fans to care that much.

Hope you won't wind up spending TOO much money, but have fun!

Got my tickets to see him in Nashville on July 26th.  It will be my 2nd time to see him in just under a year.  Thanks for the awesome b-day present, Mom!

^^You're going today? That's awesome! Have a GREAT time!!

When he announced his Pittsburgh concert a couple weeks ago, my heart skipped a beat 'cause I live in northeast Ohio and it's only about 2 1/2 hours away. But then I'm like, "I doubt it'll happen 'cause it's expensive and I have my high school graduation party coming up." Well, I started this job watching puppies, and got $315 the week of June 6th alone. And I had some graduation money from several people, and definitely went for it! When the tickets went on sale last Monday, ticketmaster.com was all jammed up and kept saying there were no tickets available. I was freaking out and actually crying 'cause I thought they were all sold out already. So my mom called them, and the guy said a second show was added on for August 19th 'cause of high demand. And he said he had two $250 tickets left for the 19th, so we got them. They're floor seats, all the way at the back by that sound panel thing. I got very lucky, so me and my dad are going, and it's part of his father's day present. It's expensive, but doesn't bother me at all 'cause it's worth it. I've never been to a Paul concert, and I've been dying to ever since I became a Beatles fan four years ago. Sooooooooo excited beyond belief!!!!!

An Apple Beatle and Penny Lane, thank you so much!  ;D

And Euan Buchan, thanks for posting the pictures and videos. Looks like you had good seats! So how long was the concert, about 3 hours? I love how he does Day Tripper now, and that was cool when all those people went on stage to play Mull of Kintyre. Loved the fireworks for Live and Let Die! Once you're done with your review, you should post it on this site. I'd love to read it.  ;D

Thanks for posting the photos and videos Euan.
I was at the gig as well, with my wife and seven-year-old daughter. We all had a brilliant time.
Highlights for me were probably some of the songs I hadn't seen him play before, like Mrs Vandebilt, And I Love Her, I've Got A Feeling, Day In The Life and Helter Skelter.
I also loved seeing the full band version of Something - with the photos of George on the big screens.
The Live And Let Die fireworks were great - my daughter was loving it!!
And of course Mull of Kintyre. I'm not Scottish myself - from just the other side of the border - but it was great to see him play this in Glasgow, which is one of my favourite cities.
The whole gig was great - probably my favourite Macca gig, and I've been to half a dozen since 1989.

Euan and Pete, so happy you guys enjoyed Paul's show. Too bad he'll never do MOK in the US (I think?), especially not California. I'd like to hear it in person!

Beatlemaniac, Paul's shows are nearly three hours long. I recommend using the restroom beforehand and not drinking too much during the show if you want to stay for the entire concert! When I was at the Hollywood Bowl for Paul this year, I overheard a young woman who said she held it all in because she didn't know Paul's show would be so long!
