Yes T.E. that's the third answer.
So the official answer is THREE.
1.love
2.fun
3.everything

Since it was a group answer, you or m.c. or John can ask the next question. 8)

I reckon YOU should choose someone to ask the next question (I think everyone is too scared to volunteer!) LOL ;)

I don't generally do games, so I won't be in the lineup.

I only tossed it out because I knew one of the answers off the top of my head.

And my ego refused to let me be silent any longer.  ;-)

OK, T.E., I therefore nominate MARIA to ask the next question.
Come on, Maria, don't be bashful...

MARIA and SCARED are not words that go together.
But maybe she has nightmares about *gasp* asking an atrociously sloppy question...

Do some of you people live in a fog? I've ALREADY asked a question: go back a couple of pages. Here's an extract:
Quote
Now, I understand I get to ask the next one.
On which release do we hear The Inner Light in stereo for the first time?
UK commercial release, please.
and it was answered very impressively, snappily, and correctly. Great!

So you see, I'm not scared, or intimidated. I know who the scared little rabbits are, though!

Since I've had my turn, someone else should ask the next question. When and if it's my turn again, I'll gladly take it.

Rabbits in a fog? Sloppy metaphor, Maria.
Wounded tigers in a hailstorm, I'd say.

So m.c. won't, Maria will but not yet, and I obvously can't.

So, T.E. or John.Over to you for the next question...

How often can zipp get it wrong. Let us look:

Quote
Rabbits in a fog? Sloppy metaphor, Maria.
No, you're combining two different metaphors, each of which stand quite strongly. The fog bit refers to your confusion (I HAVE already asked a question). The scared little rabbits bit refers to your fear.

Quote
Wounded tigers in a hailstorm, I'd say.
I wouldn't say that at all.

Quote
Maria will but not yet,---
Maria already has, you ninny! And will again when it's her turn.

Quote
--- and I obvously can't.
Agreed on that.

What was the first book ever written about the Beatles?

No correspondence will be entered into - my decision is final!

There was a book before that one, published the same year.

Where do I get the questions? Out of me head! :D

OK, I can sense a bone of contention again here! So I'll tell you the book I was thinking of... "Love Me Do - The Beatles' Progress" by Michael Braun. It was written in 1963 but published in 1964 - at this point, the Beatles had yet to conquer America.

So... it pre-dates Billy Shepherd AND Brian Epstein.

By the way... I didn't know Billy Shepherd's story of The Beatles was ever a book... I thought it was a serialisation in Beatles Monthly. That's another book I need to buy then!

That's a very FINE trivia question, End. I've been thinking about it for a couple of days, and considered Braun's book to be a candidate. It was certainly the earliest published in my Beatle "library".

I'd be interested if anyone came up with an earlier BOOK. I don't consider magazines, lift-outs, serializations etc to be actually books.

I've got a very good trivia question looming when it's my turn!

OK: since you say so. Ta.

How many Beatle songs contain the word "opportunity" in the lyrics, if any? Which one/ones, if any?

Some rules:
*You are honor-bound not to search a database (your own or one on the net) electronically. This is meant to be a test of how well you know the lyrics of their songs, in your head.

*"Beatle songs" means as released under the name "The Beatles" between 1962 and 1970, plus Live at the BBC and Anthologies 123, plus Live At the Hollywood Bowl. Any format: vinyl, tape etc. Format must be permanent
