I think adamzero was being fatecious (sp?) in his post.

Thanks, Mairi.  But I think the Screaming Lord Sutch idea was better than mine.

Yea, I don't think I can think of anyone.  I think that if that happened...Let's say like the original 4 were together for the first couple of years and then all of a sudden, they replaced Ringo.  I really think no matter how good the replacement was, the public would not stand for it.  Everyone already fell in love with each of them, there would be no way you could bring in a replacement.  I would even go so far to say that if one of them had passed while the band was still together, even then if they tried to bring in a replacement, they would not have nearly the amount of fame and success as before.

Since you all believe that Macca has had the best solo career of the Beatles, let`s not enterfere with it and give him a wonderful opportunity to play on his own. Just replace him with David Bowie or Keith Richards. Keith is, by the way, a very agreeable guy, not trying every minute to bring his talents to the fore. Besides, I`ve read that George said after the disbanding that he would play in a band with John, but he wouldn`t play with Paul. So both George and John had problems with Macca. If he had been replaced then, the Beatles wouldn`t have ended, they would have flourished right into the late 90s.

I'm going to give a hypothetical replacement for each:

Ringo- Jimmy Nicol (John told him that he was better than Ringo but just didn't make it in time)

George- Denny Laine

Paul- Klaus Voorman

John- Elton John

Okay, I'll trade you a Paul or a Ringo for this guy.  Sam Samudio of Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs.  Not only do we get a little much-needed ethnic diversity but dig that hat!  Plus that cheesy 60s organ sound on everything!

Most easy question ever... Bongo get out of there! I don't know who'll be the new drummer though.

I honestly couldn't choose.
Maybe Ringo?
Maybe Paul?
Maybe John?
Maybe George?
Idk.
The list just keeps going.....
