I thought it was just me! I had an aunt on the Swedish side, my dad's sister, who bought me a beautiful musical figurine of an Irish girl that plays this song. I always thought it was so sweet that she honored my heritage on both sides.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who chokes up!

Bear is doing better; thanks, Kelley. He had another attack so we had to bring him back to the vet for more shots and bloodwork, which confirmed he has chronic pancreatitis, so he's on a special diet and can't have any treats at all, not even dog treats.

Thanks, Kelley. He seems to be doing a lot better, and his energy level is still 'way up. You might get a laugh out of this: He ran away from me whenever I approached him for about a day or so after the second vet visit, when he had to get the shots and blood drawn, etc. Sheesh!
