OMG! I KNOW I'm gonna hate it. I don't want to but I just know I will. I hope they do a good job. I don't really like when the do John's songs though. It is kinda cool though that these music shows are going back to the Beatles as a ratings booster. They know they still draw the crowds in. I'll be watching and I haven't watched the boring Grammies in years!

"Bono, Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys..."

Those four are strong performers......and it's always cool to see that Brian Wilson is still alive........so I don't think it will be a total disaster.

It would be cool if they had Lennon's voice or image during it. Kinda like they did with Ray Charles at the Super Bowl. I hope they don't change the words or anything. Like We're all gonna change the world or something equally corny.

VELVET REVOLVER, U2 vocalist Bono, Stevie Wonder, Norah Jones, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw and Brian Wilson will all participate in an all-star live performance of the BEATLES classic, "Across The Universe", during the Grammy Awards ceremony, with Slash acting as musical director. A recording of the song will be made available immediately for downloading at the Apple iTunes Music Store. All proceeds from sales of the song, which will cost 99 cents, will go toward tsunami relief efforts.

Video footage of the performance will be available at CBS.com shortly after the 47th annual Grammy Awards are broadcast on CBS-TV.

You saw it? Who sang lead? Or did they switch off? Why can't they do anything right anymore?

they switched off. first it was bono, then norah jones, and i forgot the others but i think it was alicia keys, steven tyler, the guy from green day, brian wilson, the guy from velvet revolver, and stevie wonder.

they can't do anything right because people just don't have the talent they used to long ago.

God that does sound annoying. Yuck. YUCK!!!!!!!! Who the hell is gonna want to download this? They'd make more money if they had Paul sing it or something. That would be more interesting. Paul singing a John song. Meh, whatever.

The Janis Joplin tribute was pretty cool! So were the Staple Singers. Didn't expect that. Still waiting on Across the Universe though!!
