It's quite obvious toward the end....

Took her home I nearly made it,
Sitting on the sofa with a sister or two.

Oh, lovely Rita meter maid,
Where would I be without you?
Give us a wink and make me think of you.

This is followed by what sounds like masturbation sounds during the coda.  And then Paul shouts "I'm leaving!" (opposite of coming)

Well, you asked, so I told ya.  :)

Never thought of it until now , but yes Lovely Rita could be a masturbation song , it's very lusty and i bet Paul's sofa as seen some action ?
Think Paul might have a thing for uniforms traffic wardens , pretty nurses selling poppies from a tray ,and he did write a song latter called Dress Me Up As A Robber and then there are the Sgt. Pepper uniforms , the kinky little bugger ?

Maggie Mae :

" 'Twas in the port of Liverpool

There she turned me tool..."

These are not often the lyrics you see but that's what Lennon sings.

And for anyone who doesn't know, a tool is a rude part of the male anatomy.

Never too young... or too old for that sort of chat mate  ;) (I could quote from AHDN, but I wont  :P ;) )

Getting back on the subject. Please Please is "rude", as Andy said. Oh and Norwegian Wood "I once had a girl or should I say she once had me" (I didnt know the meaning till last year)  :B

Wow, military men, eh?  Paul's a bit wilder than I ever imagined.   ;D ;D ;D

"...and when I touch you I feel happy inside..."  Hm...maybe this could be interpreted as rude if you think too hard. :P

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window :

But now she sucks her thumb and wanders
By the banks of her own lagoon

More masturbation imagery ?
Do you think John and Paul slipped in double entendre's deliberately as a kind of in joke ?
Title: Re: Rude Songs ?

When you look at some of these lyrics , it's hard not to see some very clever word play coming from John and Paul .
The Rolling Stones look like a bunch of Nuns compared to these guys ? (rolling3)

Who does the moaning, panting, and ah-ing in "Lovely Rita"?  Is it John or both John and Paul?  *fans self*

You see, I don't agree with that. It's like any little love song, isn't it? And 'make me blue' means 'make me sad', not something else.

Polythene Pam, anyone? Or She's A Woman? :P

I'm surprised "Don't Let Me Down" hasn't been mentioned.

I've also noticed the sounds in "Lovely Rita", and you may have noticed my thoughts on "Come Together" in another thread.

"Why Don't We Do It In The Road"

I was jamming to that with my iPod and I came up to my friend and started shouting it, I don't think I've gotten a weirder look before :P
