It's not likely anyone here will care, but Jimmy Buffett has passed away.  :'(

RIP Jimmy. This one hit very hard. I am a huge fan. "The Weather Is Here, I Wish You Were Beautiful" basically sums up my desire to escape North Dakota for the tropics.

Well, now that's just the start of a well-deserved overdue binge
Meanwhile, back in the city certain people are starting to cringe
His lawyers are calling his parents
His girlfriend doesn't know what to think
His partners are studying their options
He's just singing and ordering drinks

The beer is too cold, the daiquiri's too fruitful

He's goin' back to New York pack it up and let everyone know (back to New York)
It was something that he should have done such a long time ago
Still, time to start a new life in the palm trees

And if it doesn't work out, there'll never be any doubt

While I am not a huge fan, I think most will say it is sad and noteworthy to have another artist from the greatest generation of music pass away.  RIP

I knew he and Paul were friends, but this really struck me. How kind of Paul to do this.
