It's funny how it's their highest charting song, but without any real airplay.........it's mostly because Billboard started factoring in downloads for the Top 100 a few months ago.........U2's "Vertigo" was falling out of the charts at the time, but then suddenly rebounded to the 30s once the downloads started counting............I think it's cool that they factor in downloads, but it's kind of crazy that a band could release an iTunes only song and have it go to #1 without earning a single spin on radio....

What bores me is that some news actually claim that Coldplay have "beaten" the Beatles' record. Of course they haven't.

I'm growing tired of this stuff. First 50 Cent "equals" a Beatles record (when in fact he clearly hasn't) and now Coldplay.

The truth is that while Hey Jude only debuted at #10 (that Coldplay song debuted at #8 last week), Let It Bee debuted at #6 in April 1970! Why are these news people not checking the stuff the record companies send them? They should know that the record companies are only interested in pushing their act, and there's no better way than to claim some "bigger than the Beatles" crap. This 40-year-old routine still works...

This is what Chris Martin had to say about being compared to The Beatles: "It's ridiculous . We should all worship at their feet."!!!

Amen! ;D

Yeah, but like me, Chris Martin's next favorite band is U2............and I know a lot of you don't like to worship Bono...... ;)
