WWZ  Kept me on the edge of my seat! The wife doesn't like Zombie movies but she liked this one. it must have some merit!

I'm not big on zombie movies, either, but from all the positive reactions I've heard, including your post, I'll have to rent it.  :)

My girls and I saw Inisidious 2 last week. 'Way too convoluted for me. The first Insidious was far better IMO.

It was really good! I love scary movies, but it's so hard to find one that doesn't involve gore and gratuitous sex and nudity (especially gore). I'm not into watching
people being tortured; ugh.

You and your wife should give Insidious a try for Halloween   :)

We'll take it under advisement.  :)
OK, it's on the list!

I want to see this too. Soon.

Took my wife to see Gravity in 3D (her idea) the other night. I already knew what was going to happen as I read about it so I didnt want to be there. It was well acted by Clooney and Sandra and the special effects were pretty good. Sandra floating around in her underwear for half the movie wasnt bad either. Good film, but i'm not sure its the end all movie that everybody seems to be raving about.

Also finally watched Hunger Games on the computer. I liked it, but i'm easily entertained with movies like that. I'm anxious for the next one actually.

Star Trek-Into Darkness. Movie was pretty good. I figured some of it out fairly quick and the special effects during the fight scenes later in the movie dropped it below the awesome space special effects during the 1st half of the movie. Just a touch below the usual Star Trek quality but all in all it was good and worth the watch!

The great Gatsby. I liked the musical score. Reminded me of Moulin Rouge a bit with an older movie with a modern musical score. It was good!

Mud - I liked it. Great acting from the two boys in the movie. A bit long but good.

Noah, a short film that debuted at the Toronto International FIlm Festival, illustrates the flitting attention span and lack of true connection in digital culture more clearly than anything else in recent memory. (Warning: NSFW)

Cloud Atlas - Tom Hanks and Halle Berry. Really interesting cool movie with 6 stories interwoven to past, present and future!
I really liked it but I must admit I would need to watch it at least again to maybe put it all together. It's great for those who like unique puzzle like movies that give you a mental work out!

1953 Titanic, one of my favorites. Clifton Webb is so great in it; I wanted to throttle his character. I've been watching it while editing some tables <yawn>. Just found the trailer on YouTube:

^

That might be one of the first disaster movies featuring a multi-star cast.  Yes, Clifton Webb was his usual proper self, just like he was in Stars And Stripes Forever.  And he was joined again by a very young Robert Wagner early in his career.

Great flick!
