Musicians band together in annual NYC tribute to John Lennon (pics)   

Theatre Within's 31st Annual John Lennon Tribute, a New York City tradition since 1981, took place before a sellout crowd Dec. 10 at New York’s (Le) Poisson Rouge. The all-star cast featured Steve Forbert, Bettye LaVette, Lucy Kaplansky, Rich Pagano of the Fab Faux, Richard Barone,  Marshall Crenshaw, Toshi Reagon, Mike Doughty and others taking on the John Lennon song book.
