The feel of the grass in my hands,
Heat from the ever sifting sands,
I cannot look away from the sun,
I'm blind, but I still want to run,

Lightning blocks out the moon,
Rain pouring through my gaping wound,
Still I stare into my heart,
And see the holes that tore it apart,

Clap of thunder overhead,
The cool earth I use as a bed,
I reach out and grab a star,
For you, my dear, but it cannot go far,

Another night I spend alone,
More fields and woods for me to roam,
My hand still quivers when you're near,
Even if I yell, you still cannot hear,

See your face in an old Polaroid,
You're smiling back at me,
And when the story ends,

Been thinking this one up for a few days now. don't really have a title

I feel the hurt of it all,
The stupidity of what I felt,
I cannot go on like this,
I cannot feel like this anymore,

My skin tightens,
The knot loosens,
Everything goes dark,
For I have lost...

And there she was,
The angel of my dreams
She told me,
As she reached out,

Take my hand,
I know I'll be there
If you need me,
And you can see,
That will always be true,

I stared into her eyes,
That could make a man cry,
She touched my face,
And I could feel the warmth of her embrace,

Like a fire burning inside of me,
The hatred I felt subsided,
The pain and anger no longer mattered,
Unlike everything before, I felt reborn,

Like the monks of yore chanting,
And the plucking of heavenly harps,
That sweet lass came to me,
Softly, she whispered to my heart,

There was one day in April that I ranted to god and questioned all that I had given up on him (I'm still buddhist, but the catholic faith I was raised in still lingers) and to that end, this poem basically came about. Yes it is a very angry and bitter poem


For many years I worked in your name,
Gave all I had for you,
Cared for you,
But when I needed you,
You were nowhere to be found,

And when the curtain fell,
And you were not around,
Your prodigal son,
Turned his back on you,

Cruciatus in crucem. (To hell with your punishments)
Tuus in terra servus, nuntius fui, (I was your servant, your messenger on the earth)
officium perfeci. (I did my duty)

My life well adjusted,
My happiness grew,
And all the while,
I wasn't thinking of you,

You no longer cared,
Neither did I,
Years went by, maybe more,
Before your revenge took place and knocked on my door,

Like an angry wind,
You swept up my life,
And just like that,
My back produced a knife,

Did I upset you?
My absence unbecoming?
Millions of sheep left for you,
Why f*** with my shortcomings?

For years I never saw what they did in you,
You're smart and funny,
and powerful too,
Still you took it all,
And gave it to them,
All because I wasn't your friend,

And all the angels in heaven sing your name,
So why make me your fair game?
