Todd... ever the cynic...

It would be a very hard choice, because they all would have great things to talk about and great stories. Sometimes the same story, told with different details.

After I beat myself up trying to make a decision, I would pick George. He is my favorite Beatle, just because of his sense of humor and his quiet nature. I think we would get along well.

I can dig exactly what your saying there Gary and wracked my brains about this question but at the end of the day John is the guy in the whole world of music that I dig the most so it would HAVE to be him..

I remember seeing them in like 64 on TV as a lttle kid, I was transfixed on John singing Please Please Me, just the way he looked, stood and the aura he gave off, such power.........it had a powerful effect on me from that day, I bugged my mum to death to get me a guitar for Christmas  ha2ha

And the rest, as they say is history! They should have some kind of a registry for people who got into performing music as a result of seeing The Beatles on TV.

I agree and what further sets him apart for me is his way with words. I know he didn't always use them kindly but if you can look past some of that he was brilliant. He makes me think; usually "what the hell does that mean?" and I like that.

John can sum up a whole lifetime in one song. "In My Life" is a perfect example.

I would love to have dinner with George because I'd love to talk with him about a bunch of stuff and I view him as being the most nicest and caring one - I figured this out because of all my dreams I've ever had about The Beatles or just George himself he's always nicest to me - I wouldn't be so nervous around George as I would be the others. This was a pretty hard choice though because I'd also love to have dinner with John but I'd rather with George just a tiny bit more.

It is interesting that Ringo is not a top pick amongst us.

Ringo has an attitude. He has a very, "Sod Off" attitude. He has a beautiful wife and a very content life. Why would he want to be bothered? He is so beyond things that he doesn't give autographs anymore. I think he is tired of being poked, prodded and worshiped. I think he does his tours because he likes playing with his friends and promoting his "Peace And Love" message.

My sister would have chosen Ringo, for the reasons you outlined Gary910... and others ;)

I think I just figured out why Pete Best was fired. He is flipping us all the bird.

when I look at that pic, it makes me wonder, if you'd gone up to that scruffy bunch of not very good wannabee musicians and said

'you are going to be the biggest band in the world, and you are going to sell over a billion records'

I wonder what theyd have thought ....
