Ringo fans should wait before they buy it ... there will be a deluxe edition coming out in the next few months, if Ringo's exploiting attitude is repeated, a la RingoRama.i am sure he doesn't handle the details....but releasing more never hurt anything...

Come on Tkitna: I thought you had standards. Choose Love is very, very mediocre.

Mediocre- >:( >:( >:( >:(
LOL!! 'Wake Up My Love' is my favorite on the album and of course you didnt mention it. Not due to it being good or bad, its just we dont agree on anything (rarely I should say). Whatever, i'll break this out of the cobwebs and give it a relisten (regardless of how painful it might be) just to refresh myself. I dont want to debate the album becuase if you like it,,,,you like it. I always thought it was dismal though and remember telling my buddy that even 'Extra Texture' was twice as good and that wasnt exactly a strong effort either.
As for Ringo getting rid of Mark Hudson,,,,I disagree of course. I've liked everything they have done together and thats not necessarily true with all of Ringo's past projects. I mean its Ringo. The music is fun, well played, and easy on the ears. I'm not sure what your looking for.
I still think Rama was Ringos best effort (even better than 'Ringo') and is very close to cracking my top 5 fav's from the lads solo offerings. I suppose we just have very different tastes.
Are you angry at Ringo, for putting out such a poor work, or me for saying so?
Last One, stupid Question!!!
Because that is your opinion
Let's see if I've got this straight, then. You are angry at me because I have a low opinion of CHOOSE LOVE, an opinion that's different from yours?
Do you really think 'anger' is the appropriate emotion in these circumstances?
Do we say so , has you all albums of Ringo ever heard?
In order to be able to judge that at all.

Ah, "Angry" from the classic Press To Play. One of the more dreadful McCartney efforts - and by his own admission too!
wow after 8 Hours
I've only just come on line, silly person. It's 6.20 AM at the moment, where I live.
silly Gay Man i wrote this after mine Time
Ydoll How old
I saw Ringo on GMA last week with the Roundheads promoting his latest album Choose Love & I have to say the title track is a great song.
free drink is a great song and ne next No.1 for a Beatle
but those are things that are part of his life experience.is music writing about what you have personally experienced?the song titles are part of his life and he chose to sing about them.he has some right too.regardless if he hits or misses.
Choose Love is pure corn. Ringo overdoes it completely with quoting Beatle lyrics, his own lyrics, song titles etc. He's done it before, and it was restrained. But now it's done without restraint or finesse, and makes him quite ridiculous.
Ringo, get rid of Hudson. Today.
Er ... no!
By the way, what does FSPHOT stand for?
It can't be George's acronym for his Friar Park studios, as that was FPSHOT (Friar Park Studios, Henley-on-Thames).

Y doll for prezident
I will treasure Ydoll and Dirk's battle of wits forever.
i don't.and its a good thing noone writes to please you as it seems little does....
The trouble is, I don't accept that these songs written by Ringo + colleagues are anything more than assembly line jobs. They feel quite soulless. Empty gestures, if you like. All the little tricks on this album have been used before, and used more deftly.
Don't let your liking for Ringo cloud your judgement, Constable.
and its a good thing noone writes to please you as it seems little does....That's because I have high standards.
Is that because I best you as effortlessly as I do FSPHOT?
lol you gotta tell them what they wanna hear....
Actually no, I don't argue with you because arguing on the internet is like competing in the special olympics; even if you win, you're still retarded.
Er ... no!

Sounds like the logic of someone who never wins.
Hey - you popped your head up, and it done got snapped right off, AGAIN!
Right once again.
Dont let it get to your head, lest you become arrogant
Psst ... sunny ... you just got snappped again!
I congratulate your patience, waiting all of 1 minute before posting this clarification for my benefit.
Not as nice as not saying anything would have been.
Sunny can speak for himself, and he maintains that he's never admitted such a thing.
Right once again.
personally I dont think Ringo should of ever made solo music sure he had the good song here and there but nothing was ever amazing. He's a drummer he has no purpose in writing his own music, but then again I'm one of the people who think Ringo has hardly any talent.
Oh, fibber, fibber, you did so. Here's the quote:
If I am the master of the universe, does it not follow that you are no match for me?
QED

wow
Oh sarcasm will be my undoing I saw it from the start.
