As of right now, I am embarking on an hour and 50-minute musical journey with John Lennon. I have arranged all of his best songs in order from (relatively) earliest to (relatively) latest, in my music player... the play list reads (mind you, these do not include all his best, just my favorites):
Early Years:
Twist and Shout
Money (That's What I Want)
Tell Me Why
If I Fell
Baby's In Black
No Reply
Rock & Roll Music
New Direction Years:
I've Just Seen A Face
You've Got To Hide Your Love Away
Norwedian Wood
And Your Bird Can Sing
I'm Only Sleeping
Psychedelic Era:
Strawberry Fields Forever
I Am The Walrus
A Day In The Life
Being For The Benefit of Mr. Kite
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
The Final Beatle Years:
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
Sexy Sadie
I Want You (She's So Heavy)
Across The Universe
Dig A Pony
Don't Let Me Down
The Ballad of John and Yoko
Solo Years:
Imagine
Jealous Guy
Stand By Me
(Just Like) Starting Over
Woman
Working Class Hero
Happy Xmas (War Is Over)
Give Peace a Chance
And of course the definitive closer to sum it all up:
In My Life.
It's very emotional but well worth it... It's like a huge soundtrack to his life and I am enjoying it so far.
May John Winston Ono Lennon Rest In Peace Forever.
:'(
"The World's Last Great Hero", as I call him.

:'( what a sad day....
-
Yes, it is. :'(
What is even sadder is that most people don't even remember it! ( :B I should be counted as one of those people... I didn't get any sleep AT ALL yesterday so I was still working on yesterday's gas when my mom reminded me...)
But I'm finally as I Am The Walrus, one of my favorites! And next is his greatest song of all time, A Day In The Life, IMO...
Like I said, the World's Last Great Hero. :(

Thank you... I realized that shortly after that it was in there and pulled it... I dunno why it was in there in the first place and why I didn't notice it when I was writing the tunes out... (confused) I guess we all get a little stupid sometimes... ::)(crosseyed4)
