Anthology DVDs
« on: February 21, 2012, 05:57:47 PM »

I got the Anthology videos back when it originally came out. I don't remember when it was first released on video. I want to say about 1997. I remember it was a long time after it was televised. I originally got it on LaserDisc. (Anyone remember those...?)

Then when it came out on DVD I got that. I didn't care for the changes that were made from the original video release to the DVD release. The biggest was the font changes (names, etc.). I haven't watched the whole thing in a long time, as it does require some commitment.

Anyways, I also have the Director's Cut, which is a little bit more extensive.

I did a search on this forum, and I was surprised to find there is little discussion about the Anthology videos. There is discussion on the albums.

Do you own the videos, how did you get them, what do you like about this?

I got the DVDs when they first came out and watch them 2-3 times a year or so. Always entertaining.

Would love to see the Director's cut.
