White Album LP's individually numbered?

I just noticed this the other day, but all the covers I see for the white album are different. The numbering's different.



The number on my Mom's LP is "A 0542684".

So were they individually numbered or is it just some kind of code? :-/

They were are individually numbered, but the numbers aren't unique cause every pressing plant just numbered their copies starting from 1. I don't know how many pressing plants there were, but there are a few copies of every number.
