I always have my own holiday pictures on my desktop. Currently I have one of a temple overlooking the Caribbean Sea in Tulum, Mexico on my computer at work and one of Lake Peten in Guatemala on my computer at home.

^ Yes, at home I use Linux, but I think Macs can do the same thing (or similar). :) I don't think Windows offers slideshow desktops.

Have you got 'Grab'? I can't remember if it comes with the OS or you have to download it. Look in 'Applications>Utilities'.

Yeah, but then he looks too blurry. I love John lounging in the background in his pink pants. It just looks like a casual, relaxing day, yet the greatest music in the world is being created. I just love it.

I love this thread! I alternate between The Fabs and scenery.........................I have a beautiful scene from Switzerland. Chateau Chillon on Lake Geneva..........a place I was lucky to visit in 2004. Brings back awesome memories.......

Since this computer is shared by my mom,little sister and I it's no fair because they get to choose the background so whenever I put a Beatle picture as the background it'd only stay a couple days (if I was lucky) then either my mom or my little sister would change it to a background picture that they got from a small amount of options that our computer gives us which are all animals or a pretty scenery.So getting to the point of what my background is,it's a cute koala up close so it seems like it's staring at you.

*le sigh* my computer's in the shop but it's the same desktop picture... Completely miss it! Right now I'm using my parents computer and it's desktop picture is of my cousin's son on Halloween, super cute but I wish I had my Paul back!

I had two IE icons. The one in the second column was a link to IE properties and was eventuay deleted. In my case, IE works well for remote access to hospital records, radiology studies, medical journals, etc.

I never thought about that, that's why at school they keep telling us not to delete IE, but then again, a lot of journals seem to work fine now in other browsers. To each their own though :)

Thanks, the ski in the water and the one on the right are the same, this past winter I printed a collage onto a heavy duty vinyl and now when I wait for the boat to give me a pull I can look at the blue meanie at the tip of the board... ;D
