I just read the Wikipedia entry about it. They gave away the ending!

Urgh; that's frustrating! I use IMDB, which covers any spoilers with red "Spoiler!" text, and if you choose to read that part you just mouse over it.

I am usually a big sissy when it comes to horror movies but since I liked The Hand That Rocks the Cradle I thought I might like this. Now I'm thinking twice!

It was actually more funny than scary. My kids and I are looking forward to Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension. Even though it's the fifth/sixth installment (by which time a movie is usually awful), the trailer looked really good.

I liked The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, too!

I was so disappointed with the original.  I watched it in the basement alone in the dark, and couldn’t believe I wasted 2 hours of my life.  Got sucked into the 2nd one too!  Can’t fool me 3 or 4 times!  roll:)

That is funny, because it scared the heck out of me! I also was terrified by The Blair Witch Project, but my friend Kim said she thought it was so dumb she laughed all the way through it.   ;D

Watched Mad Max Fury Road on the plane out to Seattle.  Heaping pile of crap. .

0-2 on that trip.

I thought the dialogue and character development was compelling.

^^^^

You should give the original Paranormal Activity a try (or have you?). I thought it was good, but of course opinions vary. My name is at the end (one of thousands) because I signed an online petition to get it into national release. My big (and only) claim to fame, ha ha.   ;D

I saw Oblivion yesterday, not as good I thought it would be but still decent entertainment. So many big spacey films out at the moment, weird :P

Unbroken! Good movie but misses most of the point. I must say I get quite uptight when sharks circle a puny rubber raft!

I keep meaning to watch that. Louis Zamperini was born in Olean, which is the next town over from here. (The one we have to go to when we want to buy pretty much anything.) He only lived here until he was two but the movie still generated quite a bit of excitement in these parts. He has a monument in War Vet's Park.

The original story was about faith and forgiveness. The movie only touched that at the end. Could have been much more but was still good as it sheds light on what our guys had to go through.

I just hope it's a good movie! Sometimes all the best parts are in the trailer and the movie itself isn't that great. We'll see.   ;)

I saw the first half of Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension with a friend and had to call my daughter to come pick me up and bring me home. (I didn't want to ask my friend, who had driven us there, to leave.) One of those nasty stomach flus (or food poisoning, perhaps?) that is vicious, comes on quicky, but fortunately is over within about 24 hours.  :-X

Jurassic World. Eh. I think I heard too much hoopla about it before I saw it. I vastly prefer the original Jurassic Park (both book and movie).

Other than that Kathy how did you like the movie? ;) Seriously, I'm glad the sickness ended relatively quickly. You sure have had a tough go lately.
