Hi Hi Hi

Hi Hi Hi is one of Paul's finest moments with his band Wings kicking ass on this rock classic which defines him in the 70's during his post Beatles period at the time just as much as Maybe I'm Amazed & Silly Love Songs & the live version on Wings Over America is more ballsy than the studio version but they're both great!

I like Hi Hi Hi, Maybe I'm Amazed, and Silly Love Songs. I like any Paul song equally.

He has an amazing range... just stunning vocals. But mostly he just uses that melodic voice of his.

Calling Hi Hi Hi bubblegum makes no sense at all.

Love the song. One of his finest moment during the Wings carreer.

He made some terrific songs during his Wings carreer and this is no exception. And so isn't Silly Love Songs and Maybe I'm Amazed.

Love all of the Wings/Paul stuff from the 70's...........except for "My Love" and this HORRID single and its equally atrocious b-side "C Moon"........."Hi Hi Hi" is aggravating "Let's rock!" nonsense.......while "C Moon" is just plain annoying.....sorry Paul, you were on fire in these days, but I guess the fire momentarily flickered for a second. ;)

You don't like C Moon?

It's my favorite Paul solo carreer song! I find it pretty estimulating. More of a youth-feeling to it, but I just love that beat.

Hi Hi Hi/C Moon was a good single - in an era where the single was starting its death agony. The A side was nice and rocky, in a typical Paul/Wings way: you know, designed to be not too in-your-face. (That's probably what PC31 refers to with his "bubblegum" remark.) It's also about sex, in a nice sort of way. You could play the record to your mum, and she'd only blush at most when the nice bit of "fast and jerky" music came on near the end.

The B-side is different and quirky enough to provide a nice and welcome break from playing the A-side over and over.

Did I say a good single - it's a GREAT single!

Its a great single. I love C Moon. My girlfriend has a 5 year old daughter who sings along perfectly with the "what's it all about?" part with the other kid voices which is so sweet, it will make your teeth hurt. Good thumpy bass. Hi Hi Hi is a great groove as well.
