hi, guys, thought i'd jump in.

i'm a vegetarian, and i don't usually discuss unless someone invites me into a discussion. anyways, i thought i'd pop in and put in my two cents. it seems the most prominent argument i hear is how it's 'natural to eat meat.' animals are, after all, carnivores a lot of the time. well, animals also steal from each other, eat their own babies, murder each other, rape each other, etc, etc...

Extreme vegetarians like the ones in radical animal rights groups like PETA are out of their minds mentally because they think it's a religion as well as trying to force it on the public at large which is CRAZY while people like myself eat meat & love animals at the same time without feeling guilty.

My girlfriend is vegetarian because of her religion (Janeism) and can't comprehend how one moment I can play with an animal and the next moment eat it (not literally of course). And I can't explain it.
Just another mindset I guess.
And I'm sure those furry little bastards are just waiting for their moment......

And no, I'm not comparing meat-eaters to wife-beaters (wow, that rhymes), it was just an example.

Biscuit Power, are you saying PETA isnt extreme?  They amde a school take down all it's Got Milk? posters beacause of their cow feelings.  Those posters encouraged kids to drink milk and get the calcium they need to grow strong.  The psychos were going to sue the school for promoting calcium.

No, cause I drink milk too.

I don't agree with everything they say or do, I just think PETA is a good thing. Like an Amnesty Internation for animals, as I said.

And I prefer to stick to just using words if I want someone to see my point.

PETA has good intentions, but they can be pretty extreme.

I'd be a vegetarian if I didn't like meat so much. :O

...of course that makes sense, what are you talking about? XD;
