SSG - Beatles For Sale - Results
« on: August 26, 2007, 11:27:14 AM »

20 votes in this week, which is not bad. Voting was pretty close for the top 2 places right to the end. The results are:

1. No Reply     23
2. Eight Days A Week     21
3. I'm A Loser       15

The rest of the votes were:

4. I Don't Want To Spoil The Party   12
5. Rock And Roll Music   11
= 5. I'll Follow The Sun   11
7. Baby's In Black   8
8. Every Little Thing   6
9. What You're Doing   5
10. Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby   3
11. Honey Don't   2
12. Mr. Moonlight   1

Words Of Love polled no votes at all.

Mr. Moonlight romped home in first place as worst song, with 10 ponits!

Incredibly useless fact: This is the first time that John Lennon has sung the lead on all 3 winning songs, and the worst.

All you've got to do is choose love.  That's how I live it now.  I learned a long time ago, I can feed the birds in my garden.  I can't feed them all. -- Ringo Starr, Rolling Stone magazine, May 2007<br />

I can understand the indifference.  Buddy Holly and the Crickets did it superbly.  Even Gary Busey's rendition in The Buddy Holly Story was beautiful.  I'm happy that the Beatles paid tribute to Buddy in recording this piece.

Right KE.  My favorite on this album.  I was blown away by it the first time I heard it.  Until then, we just had Chuck Berry.....nice, but John really rocked out with the Beatles' version.
